Vettel was able to provide a very good start allowed him to progress from third to first on arrival at the first corner to keep the position until the race stopped after a major accident between Esteban Gutierrez and Fernando Alonso.
During the downtime, Nico Rosberg has installed Madiom tires, while Vettel decided to stay on the same set of red tires.
Rosberg and therefore did not need to stop again unlike fellow Ferrari driver, who had to stop to do another single.
Nico Rosberg was able to win in front of teammate Lewis Hamilton, with Vettel finished third.
Vettel said, "We have decided to walk in an aggressive way."
"Maybe we should do something else, but I do not want to blame one. It is unfortunate withdrawal of the other car, but today was positive. It is clear that the team in good condition, as we know that we can progress and put pressure on the Mercedes."
Vettel: Ferrari are very close
Despite the disappointment, however, that the German Said the progress made by his team as it feels that he has become closer than ever to Mercedes.
