Jenson Button praised the new colleague Stoffel Vandoorne who drove McLaren place Fernando Alonso.
Fandorn and finished the first free practice in 18th place before the climb to the 11th place in the second free practice.
Patton said, "I've done a great job today too. Gesture in the second free practice would have been much better than it seemed to matter."
He concluded, "I consort with the team as expected, it's a talented driver. Thus we will see what we can do tomorrow."
